- Cameras recognize license plates: When a car enters or exits a parking lot and drives into the camera's field of view, the camera recognizes that there is a license plate in its field of view and takes a photo of the license plate. Important: The driver or passengers in the car cannot be identified! Your privacy remains protected.
- Artificial intelligence reads the license plate number: Artificial intelligence (AI) is used to read your license plate number from the photo. It is then stored together with the exact time of your entry and exit.
The parking duration is calculated: Based on this data, the system automatically calculates how long road users have been parked. This ensures that only the actual parking time is paid for.
